KBR Chosen for US, Australia Defense Support Services Contracts

KBR has received a pair contract extensions of undisclosed terms for base operational support services from the U.S. Defense Department, as well as a five-year integrated support contractor services contract from the Australian defense department.

The company said Monday the awards from DoD cover base operations and maintenance services to the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Atlantic in Djibouti and work to conduct LOGCAP IV operations services in the Arabian Peninsula.

KBR will also work with the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group’s AIR90 Project Office and work to upgrade Secondary Surveillance Radar equipment on selected military equipment to maintain interoperability with the U.S. and NATO.

Australia’s defense department selected KBR for deliver engineering, integrated logistics and other support services for helicopters, aircraft, specialist ships and land based air defense systems.
