DARPA said Friday those areas of interest include the need to control and exploit the electromagnetic spectrum, development of tactical sensors that work to provide actionable intelligence to warfighters as well as new platforms designed to provide access to the globalized supply chain of microelectronics.

MTO program managers will also meet potential proposers at the event to discuss the office’s request for information on novel technologies and methods designed to address MTO's thrust areas, such as tactical information extraction, physics and spectrum interfaces and globalization.

DARPA said it will accept white papers for the RFI through Aug. 22.

The agency will also offer information on MTO's upcoming broad agency announcement and Commercial Performer Program announcement at the Proposers Day.

Registration for the event is open until Sept. 13, according to the notice.
