DLT, FinalCode Form File Sharing Security Partnership; Jeremy Young Comments

cybersecurityDLT Solutions and FinalCode have teamed up to provide file collaboration and sharing security platforms to public sector clients.

FinalCode said Tuesday it will integrate its file security-based digital rights management platform with DLT's portfolio of information security tools.

Jeremy Young, vice president of cybersecurity for DLT, said the combination of products as a result of the partnership aims to protect data from leakage risks.

FinalCode said its file security DRM platform is designed to perform remote deletion, traceability and encryption functions to secure file collaboration operations.

The FinalCode platform also uses a cryptographic module that is under the first level of accreditation for the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Federal Information Processing Standard 140-2.

NASA Picks Luna’s RIO Laser for Navigation Doppler LiDAR

NASA has selected a Luna Innovations-built semiconductor laser for use in its Navigation Doppler LiDAR system. “To precisely measure the vehicle speed, direction, and distance, our NDL system uses both Doppler shift and laser beam travel time, which requires a highly stable single-frequency laser source,” said Farzin Amzajerdian, NDL principal investigator from NASA Langley Research Center. “The RIO laser from Luna Innovations has met NASA’s requirements for high reliability, low noise, and ultra-narrow linewidth.”


ICF Receives NASA Contract for Global Change Research Services

ICF has received a potential five-year, $33.9 million contract to help NASA administer a program that works to coordinate government agencies' studies on changes. The company will perform administrative and technical support services for the U.S. Global Change Research Program's National Coordination Office.
