VA Verifies Worldwide Counter Threat Solutions as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business

Department of Veterans AffairsThe Department of Veterans Affairs has verified Worldwide Counter Threat Solutions, formerly known as Allen Vanguard Counter-Threat Solutions, as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business.

WCTS said Thursday the verification makes the company eligible to utilize the Veterans First Contracting Program that works to prioritize SDVOSBs in VA contract awards.

VA programs under the Office of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization are designed to help veterans access economic opportunities via the federal procurement system.

Joe Szymczak, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and WCTS president and CEO, said the verification works to support the company’s efforts to provide educational programs to prepare military and public safety personnel for response to terrorist attacks.

Worldwide Counter Threat Solutions offers training, consultation, explosive operations, explosive ordnance disposal, counter-improvised explosive device and threat intelligence services to the commercial, national defense and homeland security sectors.
