mfd-268c4-black-hawk-displayCanadian Commercial Corp. has received a $7 million contract to produce, integrate and test a control display unit replacement for the HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters of the U.S. Air Force.

The Defense Department said Friday the sole-source contract covers the production of 42 non-developmental CDUs with the same form, fit and function as the current Pave Hawk display system.

Work will occur in Saint-Laurent, Canada through Nov. 30, 2018.

The Air Force Material Command will obligate the full contract amount at the time of the award from the service branch’s fiscal 2016 “other” procurement funds.

HH-60G Pave Hawk is a modified version of the U.S. Army‘s Black Hawk helicopter and designed to aid day or night personnel recovery operations in hostile environments.

CCC serves as Canada’s international contracting and procurement agency that was established to connect international government buyers with Canadian suppliers.
