ITM2M Spectrum Networks and Link Labs have entered into a partnership agreement with the goal to create a low-power, wide-area network for internet of things.

M2M SN said Tuesday it will incorporate its licensed spectrum with Link Labs’ carrier-grade IoT wireless system designed with high throughput capacity, updated wireless firmware, low-powered repeaters and bi-directional messaging acknowledgement.

Link Labs’ Symphony Link is an LPWA platform that uses LoRa wireless radio frequency technology to aid smart buildings, asset tracking, agriculture and industrial automation efforts.

Link Labs CEO Bob Proctor said the company aims to support critical infrastructure and enterprise clients with  licensed spectrum for a wide area networking.
