A team comprised of Qwaltec and LJT & Associates has secured a five-year, $19 million contract from the U.S. Navy to provide support services for the Navy Satellite Operations Center in Point Mugu, California.
Both companies will help NAVSOC operate and maintain ground systems designed to facilitate global space communications of the Navy fleet, joint warfighter and interagency users, Qwaltec said.
Contract work will occur in NAVSOC locations across California, Colorado, Maine and Guam.
Tempe, Arizona-based Qwaltec offers mission readiness, spacecraft operations, technical training, systems engineering and program management support for government and commercial clients.
