cybricCybric has named cybersecurity veterans Jim Bandanza, Michael Brown and John DeLong as members of its advisory board to help develop and expand the company’s automation and vulnerability platform.

Bandanza, DeLong and Brown will work to guide the company’s executive and technical teams as part of the advisory board that includes former and current security, artificial intelligence, academic and public sector leaders, Cybric said Monday.

Cybric is the developer of the Continuous Security-as-a-Service platform that works to replicate application environments and scan for security vulnerabilities to help secure applications and data without impacts on production.

“Jim Bandanza, John DeLong and Admiral Michael Brown are security luminaries who have fostered the pillars of our cybersecurity industry,” said Ernesto DiGiambattista, CEO and founder of Cybric.

“The insight they’ll be able to provide, based on decades of combined experience at the highest levels of the security industry, will be invaluable as we gear up to launch our Continuous-Security-as-a-Service platform for general availability.”

Brown, a retired U.S. Navy rear admiral and former director of cybersecurity coordination at the Department of Homeland Security, currently serves as vice president and general manager of the global public sector business at EMC‘s RSA subsidiary.

Cybric stated that Bandanza has more than two decades of cybersecurity and software experience and has served as an SVP at RSA.

DeLong’s career includes roles such as director of compliance at the National Security Agency, director of NSA’s commercial solutions center and a joint duty post as deputy director of DHS’ national cybersecurity division.
