Dominion Consulting has received a contract of an undisclosed value to support the Department of Veterans Affairs‘ migration to the Agriculture Department‘s financial management platform, AlexandriaNews reported Thursday.
The report said the contract covers independent validation and verification services intended to help VA replace its current mainframe legacy financial system with the CGI-built Momentum platform.
The General Services Administration and the Office of Management and Budget designated USDA as the shared services provider of the Momentum software in October.
AlexandriaNews reported Dominion Consulting will assist USDA through the next six to nine months as part of the initial discovery phase of the system migration process.
