doug-oathoutDoug Oathout, formerly vice president of converged infrastructure and alliance marketing at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, has joined Black Box Corp. as VP of strategic partner relations.

Oathout will oversee the company’s holistic and innovative partner strategy with his more than 20 years of experience in partner relations and marketing, Black Box said Nov. 21.

“We are excited to have Doug join our team and help us to align with strong industry partners in the technology and managed services arena,” said E.C. Sykes, president and CEO of Black Box.

He most recently played an active role in HPE’s internet of things and cloud strategy, services and products.

Oathout previously served as IBM‘s director of enterprise system offerings.
