Jacobs - ExecutiveMosaicJacobs has secured multiple contracts to provide infrastructure services in support of Australia’s $3.4 billion Smart Cities urban rail and transportation network initiative.

The company said Tuesday it will support the Hurstbridge Rail Line update program under the North East Program Alliance, Pakenham Rail Depot projects in Victoria and the Bruce Highway modernization in Queensland for the contracts.

Jacobs also provides services for the Westconnex, Darlington Upgrade Project, Forrestfield Airport Link and Sydney Central Business District Light Rail projects.

Patrick Hill, senior vice president of buildings and infrastructure at Jacobs, said the company will work to address Australia’s transport infrastructure challenges, including its implementation schedule, risk management, cost mitigation and operations clarification demands.

Smart Cities aims to boost the livability and productiveness of Australia’s communities through the construction of safe and reliable transport networks.
