The Army Contracting Command received four bids for the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract and obligated $4 million in fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

Lockheed will perform work in Syracuse, New York through Nov. 15, 2018.

The AN/TPQ-53 solid-state phased array radar is designed to detect, identify and track the location of enemy indirect fires in a 360-degree or a 90-degree coverage mode.
