electronicRaytheon and the University of Massachusetts“™ Lowell Nanomanufacturing Center have received a $1.9 million grant to further develop a flexible electronics manufacturing process, The Lowell Sun reported Tuesday.

The project“™s funding comes from the NextFlex grant with the goal to advance the way printed, conformal radio-frequency electronics are manufactured, according to the report.

Dassault Systemes SIMULIA Corp. will also contribute multi-physics modelling to the project as a factor in device integration, the Lowell Sun reports.
