Scott Campbell, a former senior vice president at VAS Defense, has joined Associated Aircraft Manufacturing & Sales Inc. to serve in a similar role at the Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based military aviation technology manufacturing and repair company.
AAMSI said Wednesday the 26-year aerospace industry veteran will oversee sales and business development functions of the company’s newly formed business unit that supports customers who operate Lockheed Martin-built platforms.
“Throughout his career, Scott has built strong and effective teams that have always delivered on their commitments,” AAMSI CEO Dennis Zalupski said.
Campbell previously served held the roles of executive VP of business development and sales and president of Kellstrom Defense Aerospace before its acquisition by Merex Group in 2014.
Before Kellstrom, Campbell was VP of purchasing and materials at Fine Air/Arrow Air and VP of purchasing, materials and repairs at Greenwich Air Services.
