The state of Nebraska’s online government portal has been chosen for the Web Marketing Association’s Best in Industry 2016 Mobile WebAward for government mobile website.
WMA’s annual awards program recognizes mobile websites and applications based on criteria such as creativity, design, interactivity and ease of use, Nebraska Interactive said Friday.
NIC manages Nebraska.gov and provides online services to the state’s government agencies under a contract with the Nebraska State Records Board.
“Attention to the mobile environment assures us that the citizen, regardless of where they are in the state, can find the information they need as quickly as possible through accessing the mobile website,†said Brent Hoffman, general manager of Nebraska Interactive, which manages Nebraska.gov.
