Navy Taps Red River to Provide IT, Engineering Support for Air Force C2 Facility

Red River Computer has received a potential $34.2 million contract from the U.S. Navy to provide information technology and engineering support services for a new command-and-control center of the U.S. Air Force.

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific received two proposals for the fixed-price contract that has a base period of 15 months valued at approximately $15 million and two option years, the Defense Department said Friday.

The contractor will provide network, data center and audio visual support to help the Air Force design, install and configure a new IT infrastructure.

Work will occur at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska through Aug. 4, 2018 under the contract’s base term, according to DoD.

Claremont, New Hampshire-based Red River provides network and physical security, cloud, data analytics, functional mobility and other IT-related managed services for commercial firms, defense and civilian agencies.

The company holds spots on several procurement vehicles such as SPAWAR’s Commercial-Off-The-Shelf Command & Control and NASA’s Solutions for Enterprise Wide Procurement V contracts.
