CSRA to Support NAVSEA Research & Systems Engineering Directorate Under $59M Task Order - top government contractors - best government contracting eventCSRA has secured a potential five-year, $59 million task order from the Naval Sea Systems Command to support NAVSEA’s research and systems engineering directorate.

The company said Monday it will continue to provide engineering services intended to help NAVSEA build, design, deliver and maintain U.S. Navy amphibious, auxiliary and fleet support ships and systems.

“We are proud to enter our fourth decade supporting all facets of ship design for the U.S. Navy,” said Ken Deutsch, executive vice president of CSRA’s defense group.

“By awarding this task order for the fourth consecutive time, the Navy has reaffirmed CSRA’s commitment to NAVSEA and our dedication to their mission.”

CSRA offers design engineering, integration engineering, engineering analysis support, engineering management support, design site support, program management support, on-site support, technical study support and technical library management support to NAVSEA.

NAVSEA oversees the design, construction, delivery, maintenance and disposal of Navy platforms such as submarines and combat systems.
