Marc Lindsley, a 15-year veteran of Northrop Grumman, has joined Leonardo DRS as vice president of T-100 programs.

He will lead Leonardo DRS’ efforts to win the U.S. Air Force‘s T-X Advanced Pilot Training System contract with its T-100 Integrated Training System offering, the company said Monday.

Leonardo DRS teamed up with Honeywell and CAE USA to develop and submit the T-100 platform as a potential replacement for the military branch’s current trainer aircraft.

Lindsley previously held various program capture, business development and leadership positions at Northrop, most recently as corporate director for campaign execution.

He also worked at the U.S. Air Force and his career there included time as deputy director for surveillance and reconnaissance; deputy chief of staff for air and space operations; and commander of 523rd Fighter Squadron, 93rd Air Control Wing and the Air Force Command and Control Training and Innovation Center.

Lindsley also served as director of plans at the NATO Combine Air Operations Center in Vicenza, Italy; an instructor at the Air Force Fighter Weapons School; and a flying training unit operations officer.

He retired from military service with the rank of colonel.
