Johns Hopkins APL to Conduct Soldier Vulnerability Research for Army - top government contractors - best government contracting eventJohns Hopkins University’s Applied Physics Laboratory has won a potential five-year, $49.5 million contract from the U.S. Army to study soldiers’ vulnerability in extreme environments.

The Army Contracting Command received 999 bids for the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract via an online-based solicitation process, the Defense Department said Thursday.

APL is scheduled to complete the research by Sept. 30, 2022.
