Gary Palmer, president and CEO of Comprehensive Health Services, has accepted a “Provider of the Year” award at the 2017 Federal Occupational Health Conference hosted by the Florida State Association of Occupational Health Nurses.
FSAOHN honored Palmer for his efforts to promote and uphold the objectives of the association established to advance occupational and environmental nursing in Florida, CHS said Wednesday.
Other CHS personnel were also honored at the event including Laura Murphy, director of exam operations, and Karen Lentz, medical operations liaison.
Murphy received the Medique Unique Leader Award for her leadership, contributions to FSAOHN and other professional activities.
Karen Lentz accepted the Sally Sweet Best Practice Award for her efforts to develop and implement a vaccine program for immunization management.
