Northrop Grumman has announced it will serve as a strategic partner for the International C4I Solutions Conference that is scheduled to take place at King Saud University in Saudi Arabia from Oct. 17 to 19.
The conference, themed “Alliance Against Terrorism, Strategies and Capabilities,” will feature a range of command, control, communications, computers and intelligence platforms designed for counterterrorism missions, Northrop said Sunday.
The event will also highlight international partnerships, technology transfer programs and C2 expertise localization efforts that align with Saudi Vision 2030.
Walid Abukhaled, chief executive of Northrop’s Middle East operations, said he believes professional expertise in modern technology platforms is necessary to monitor and stop cyber and terrorist attacks in the region.
Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, Saudi crown prince and defense minister, serves as a patron of the conference.
Northrop will also support the CyberArabia competition on Oct. 11 to 12 as part of the company’s efforts to engage students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
