Joe Martore, president and CEO of Calibre Systems, has received the GovCon Executive of the Year award from the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Professional Services Council.
The recognition was given at the 15th Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards, which honors individuals and businesses in the Washington area’s government contracting community, Calibre said Friday.
Martore was named Executive of the Year in the $75 million to $300 million revenue category for his contributions to Calibre, the community and the government contracting sector over the past year.
He was appointed to his current role in 2010Â and is also a member of Calibre’s board of directors.
Martore oversees and directs strategic direction, corporate policies and overall performance of the management consulting and information technology company.
