Lockheed Subsidiary Derco Secures Extended Distribution Deal on Triumph Aircraft Propeller Parts - top government contractors - best government contracting eventLockheed Martin subsidiary Derco will continue as distributor of propeller system component spares through an agreement with Triumph Engine Control Systems.

Derco will distribute Triumph’s pump assembly spares for the 54H60 propeller system for another five years under an extension agreement in support of C-130 Hercules and P-3 international operations, Lockheed said Wednesday.

Tim Cornell, senior manager of strategic partnerships at Derco, said the company has been working with Triumph since 2000 and the agreement to extend Derco’s authorized distributor status serves to address the availability needs of aircraft operators.

Derco is authorized to sell Triumph’s 54H60 pump assembly and propellers used on Lockheed’s C-130 aircraft under an arrangement that Lockheed says works to provide a single propeller and propeller system distribution and repair source to clients.

Roger Gonet, business development manager at Triumph, said Derco has delivered Triumph products in support of the fleet operations of international customers.
