World Wide Technology has received recognition from NetApp for work as a value-added reseller of the latter company’s products to the Defense Department.
NetApp selected WWT for the “Top DoD VAR Partner of the Year” award based on total revenue earned over the past four fiscal quarters, WWT said Tuesday.
Robert Stein, vice president of NetApp’s public sector business, said the company recognizes partners that serve federal, state and local government and education customers.
NetApp honored its partners at the invite-only U.S. Public Sector Partner Summit.
WWT helps customers explore the use of NetApp-made storage and converged infrastructure platforms in integrated architectural systems through the former’s Advanced Technology Center.
Both companies began their partnership in 2009.
