Vencore has been verified by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation to continue serving as a third-party assessment organization for cloud-based technology platforms under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
Vencore said Wednesday it secured the accreditation renewal after A2LA evaluated the company’s technical competence and compliance with FedRAMP requirements and other international standards.
The Chantilly, Virginia-based government services contractor secured its first FedRAMP 3PAO certification in June 2013, followed by a reaccreditation in November 2015.
A2LA functions as an independent accreditation body that helps conduct 3PAO competency and independence assessments through the FedRAMP program.
