Benedetto Demonte, a managing director at Kroll, has taken the additional role of North America leader for the firm’s cybersecurity and investigations practice.
Kroll said Monday Demonte will lead a team of cyber investigators and digital forensic professionals who aim to help clients address challenges related to information and computer security, incident response, identity and intellectual theft, internet fraud and insider threats.
As managing director, he supervises daily customer services in the areas of computer forensics, business continuity, cyber investigations, information security, information technology audit, disaster recovery, penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
He joined Kroll in 2012 after a more than two-decade FBI career that included time as senior forensic examiner and assistant director of the bureau’s New Jersey-based Regional Forensic Laboratory.
