CenturyLink has teamed up with collab9 to offer the latter’s cloud-based unified communications-as-a-service system to the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board under a potential three-year contract.
The contract has a one-year base term and two option years.
Collab9’s UCaaS platform complies with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program and is designed to provide voice, messaging, video, mobility and customer care support through a user-based subscription model.
David Young, regional vice president for strategic government at CenturyLink, said the company will work with collab9 to deliver a unified communications platform designed to help DNFSB ensure safety and public health at defense nuclear facilities.
Collab9 also provides the UCaaS platform to the Department of Homeland Security‘s Customs and Border Protection under a partnership with Presidio.
