SRC Inc.‘s Gryphon Sensors subsidiary has partnered with Whitefox Defense Technologies to integrate drone threat mitigation and analytic tools with a radio frequency-based sensor system.

Gryphon Sensors said Monday it seeks to equip the company’s Skylight system WhiteFox-made technologies in a push to offer an integrated platform designed to counter small unmanned aerial systems.

Skylight employs radars and multispectral sensors built to detect UAS and generate three-dimensional airspace picture in real time.

Anthony Albanese, president of Gryphon Sensors, said that both companies use similar approaches to develop and engineer technologies that can help customers address threats.

WhiteFox builds its drone defense systems out of San Luis Obispo in California.

Gryphon Sensors conducts Skylight design, manufacturing and support efforts in Syracuse, New York.
