Lockheed’s Marillyn Hewson to Present at UAE Aerospace Industry Summit

Marillyn Hewson, chairman, president and CEO of Lockheed Martin, plans to discuss the company’s strategic partnerships at the Global Aerospace Summit 2018 that will take place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates from April 30 to May 1, Arabian Aerospace reported Tuesday.

“The aerospace and defense industry is uniquely positioned to help strengthen national defense and economic security through the shared development of technologies,” Hewson  was quoted as saying.

She will deliver a presentation titled “Head to Head – Defense” at the event.

Hewson, a 2018 Wash100 recipient, noted she will highlight in her speech collaborative efforts between Lockheed and UAE to help grow the region’s economy, create high-technology jobs and promote business opportunities in the science and technology field.
