DigitalGlobe Adds WorldView-4 Satellite Imagery to Cloud-Based GEOINT Platform - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Maxar Technologies‘ DigitalGlobe has incorporated imagery from the WorldView-4 Earth observation satellite into a cloud-based technology designed to help customers access geospatial intelligence.

DigitalGlobe said Sunday its WorldView-4 imagery collections will more than double the daily volume of 30-centimeter imagery stored in the SecureWatch platform and help analysts monitor activity in multiple areas of interest.

MDA, also a Maxar unit, plans to integrate RADARSAT-2 satellite imagery into DigitalGlobe’s GEOINT platform by this summer.

RADARSAT-2 uses synthetic aperture radar to collect data meant to help analysts monitor key locations worldwide, flag areas of change and createsituational reports.

Twenty defense and intelligence agencies have subscribed to use SecureWatch since the product’s launch in February 2017, DigitalGlobe noted.
