Boeing Delivers 8 Apache Helicopters to Indonesia

Boeing has delivered eight AH-64E ApacheÂ attack helicopters to the Indonesia’s army as part of a foreign military sales transaction, Defenseworld.net reported Thursday.

Ryamizard Ryacudu,Â Indonesian defense minister, said theÂ Apache units will aid national efforts to protect sovereignty against potential threats.

A turn-over ceremony occurred Wednesday at a military base located at Ahmad Yani Airport in Semarang.
