Booz Allen Hamilton has opened a facility in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, to support government, military and business organizations in cybersecurity efforts.

The Central Maryland Innovation Hub will also house Booz Allen’s Dark Labs team consisting of security researchers, penetration testers, reverse engineers, network analysts and data scientists who aim to thwart cyber attacks, the company said Monday.

“This iHub will help enrich and diversify the experience of cyber professionals at all stage of their career by providing a space to share, grow and collaborate,” said James Allen, an executive vice president at Booz Allen.

The company seeks to collaborate with the National Security Agency and the U.S. Cyber Command through the 15,000-square-foot facility, as well as promote learning and development efforts across the cyber community.

Booz Allen also operates iHubs in Austin, Boston, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington.
