A Chenega Corp. subsidiary has won a potential five-year, $44.9 million contract to provide security and access control support across the Missile Defense Agency enterprise.
“Chenega is very pleased to serve the Missile Defense Agency as their security services provider at key installations throughout the continental United States. We have enjoyed a long and successful relationship with this agency while providing professional security services throughout the world on several programs,” Timothy Lamb, president of Chenega’s Security Strategic Business Unit, told ExecutiveBiz Monday.
MDA received nine proposals for the firm-fixed-price contract, which has a $7.8 million base value, through a competitive procurement on FedBizOpps.
The agency will obligate $2.9 million in fiscal 2018 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of award. Work will occur through July 2023 at various locations in Virginia, Alabama and Colorado.
Chenega Infinity provides security services for the federal government and international customers.
