Report: DHS Eyes Additional Cybersecurity Task Orders Worth Up to $1.85B Under Alliant Vehicle - top government contractors - best government contracting eventThe Department of Homeland Security plans to award an additional $1.85 billion in cybersecurity task orders through the General Services Administration‘s Alliant contract vehicle, Fedscoop reported Wednesday.

The report said DHS could issue a potential $500 million order under group C of the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Dynamic and Evolving Federal Enterprise Network Defense program.

DHS is expected to allocate $850 million for the program’s group D and another $500 million for group E, the report noted.

CACI International secured a potential $497 million DEFEND A task order to help DHS components implement tools and methods to secure information technology systems against cyber threats.

Booz Allen Hamilton received a potential $621 million DEFEND B task order to provide cybersecurity services to the federal government.
