The U.S. Air Force has begun to accept bids for an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that covers air support services for joint terminal attack controller training.

USAF said in a solicitation notice posted Friday it seeks providers of “realistic” adversary air threats necessary for the military branch to conduct up to 30K sorties a year within the continental U.S., Alaska and Hawaii.

Selected contractors will also provide aircraft platforms; pilots; aircraft maintenance and systems support; program, quality and contract management; and support equipment to the Combat Air Forces Contracted Air Support program.

Responses to the request for proposals are due Sept. 7.
