Doug Loverro, former deputy assistant secretary for space policy at the Defense Department, has joined the board of directors of ExoAnalytic Solutions.
He became ExoAnalytic Solutions’ first outside board member and aims to help expand the use of its technology and service offerings across defense and commercial space programs, the company said Wednesday.
His three-decade public sector career has included service as executive director of the U.S. Air Force’s Space and Missile System Center for five years.
In his more recent role, Loverro led the Pentagon’s efforts to develop policy and guidance on space-related matters.
Mission Viejo, Calif.-based ExoAnalytic Solutions owns and operates a network of nearly 270 ground telescopes built to monitor manmade orbiting objects in geosynchronous, geostationary and other specialized orbits.
