, director at the National Cybersecurity Federally Funded Research and Development Center operated by Mitre, has been selected for an annual list of prominent executives in Washington’s technology industry.
Washingtonian recognized Visner on the publication’s 2018 Tech Titan list for managing the center that develops cybersecurity approaches for the private sector, Mitre said Tuesday.
“It’s honor to receive this recognition of the NCF,” Visner said.
“Every day, our team strives to help businesses and our nation secure our critical data and infrastructures by fostering public-private collaborations to identify and solve today’s real-world cybersecurity threats.”
This year’s Tech Titans also include executives from Microsoft, Amazon and Google.
The NCF supports the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence.
