Report: Boeing, Embraer Eye US-Based Military Aircraft Production Hub - top government contractors - best government contracting eventBoeing and Embraer are in discussions to establish a KC-390 military aircraft assembly line in the U.S., Reuters reported Monday.

The two aerospace companies plan to set up a defense-related joint venture to pursue the construction of a new facility that would serve as the second KC-390 factory, according to a Monday report by Brazilian newspaper Valor Economico.

Boeing and Embraer agreed on a strategic partnership in July to establish a JV that would build new markets and applications for KC-390 and other defense platforms and services.
