Serco’s US Arm to Extend Army Training Support; Dave Dacquino Quoted

The North American subsidiary of U.K.-based Serco Group will continue to provide web-based, full-life cycle training support to the U.S. Army‘s Joint Munitions Command and the Defense Ammunition Center under a potential five-year, $22M contract.

Serco Inc. will design, build, test and maintain learning tools, applications and services to help the Army and the Defense Department strengthen mission systems, the company said Friday.

Work will also include updating content in accordance with any regulatory, law and policy changes, as well as leveraging methods to evaluate training efforts.

Dave Dacquino, chairman and CEO at Serco Inc., said the company’s team of training, modelling and simulation professionals in Oklahoma City has provided web-based learning services to the Army over the past decade.

The contract contains one base year and four option years.
