BAE Systems has built a system that works to help military aircraft pilots obtain situational awareness of general air traffic through satellite technology.

BAE evaluated ADS-B’s use for non-military aircraft data transmission over the past two years and has applied the technology to the tactical data link gateway that is now operational with Typhoon fighter test units.
