BAE Named Among ‘Top Workplaces’ in Utah; Pete Trainer Quoted

BAE Systems has been selected for The Salt Lake Tribune’s 2018 list of “top workplaces” in the state of Utah, based on results from anonymous employee surveys.

“This is an outstanding honor that can only be earned after being critiqued by the toughest, and most meaningful, critics – our own employees,” Pete Trainer, vice president and general manager of BAE’ air force solutions business, said in a statement released Monday.

Research company Energage polled workers at each nominated employer on workplace elements such as pay, benefits, flexibility and training and on employees’ interest in corporate leadership and values.

Survey participants from BAE currently work at the Hill Air Force Base in Northern Utah.

Salt Lake Tribune also honored the defense technology contractor with a special award in recognition of the company’s work-life balance program.
