Boeing Gets $70M Modification on Air Force Minuteman III Missile Support Contract - top government contractors - best government contracting eventBoeing has received a $70.5M contract modification to support the U.S. Air Force‘s flight test, telemetry and termination program for the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile system.

The modification revises ICBM specifications related to cable and antenna test requirements, flight termination receiver, electronic interference and parts management plan, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

Work is scheduled to run through Jan. 29, 2021, and will occur at Huntington Beach, Calif.

The Air Force has not obligated funds at the time of award.

Boeing won a $51.2M contract in early 2015 to provide sustaining engineering and program management services for the ICBM’s guidance subsystem.

The Utah-based Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center is the contracting activity.
