ECS Supports Second AWS GovCloud Region Launch; John Sankovich Quoted

ECS, a premier consulting partner of Amazon Web Services, took part in the launch of the AWS GovCloud (US-East) region.

John Sankovich, vice president for cloud solutions at ECS, said in a statement released Tuesday the company works with customers to help them implement cloud-based applications and systems as a GovCloud skills partner.

“We are honored to partner with AWS to deliver cloud services that keep pace with the security, privacy and compliance standards of our customers in the public sector,” he added.

GovCloud (US-East) went live earlier this month and represents the second region designed for the AWS platform’s government and regulated commercial users in the country.

ECS provides consulting and managed services to public sector customers through its  Cloud Center of Excellence.
