Orion Labs-Made Voice Comms App Gets FirstNet Certification - top government contractors - best government contracting eventOrion Labs‘ mobile voice communication platform has been certified under the First Responder Network Authority and is now featured under the FirstNet App Catalog.

The company said Wednesday its Orion Push to Talk iOS 5.2.8 app is geared to simplify communications between public safety agents across organizations.

The app is now authorized for use with the FirstNet platform that facilitates communication among the nation’s first responders.

“We’re pleased that Orion Labs’ push-to-talk application is now FirstNet certified,” said Bob Sloan, chief operating officer for FirstNet at AT&T.

“Having options is important when it comes to first responders’ communication tools,” he added.
