AAR has launched initiatives to help address a demand for workers skilled in aircraft maintenance, repair and operations through the company's Eagle Pathways program, Forbes reported Wednesday.

“We want to continue growing our partnerships with government—federal, state and local—but this is a challenge that can’t be solved by industry alone," Holmes told Forbes in an interview.

The company performs support work on some aircraft units manufactured by Boeing, Airbus, Embraer and Bombardier, as well as conduct maintenance inspections, upgrade airframes  repairs various components.
