Dell’s marketing arm has received a potential $78.1M contract to provide software license maintenance services to the U.S. Army.

The company will support license maintenance activities for software developed by its VMware subsidiary, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

The Army received one bid for the firm-fixed-price contract and will obligate $63M at the time of award from its fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance funds.

Dell will perform contract services at Round Rock, Texas, through Jan. 27, 2020.
