Microsoft has started to offer a collaboration tool intended to help U.S. government users plan and manage tasks as part of its cloud technology offerings.

Eray Chou, a principal project manager at Microsoft, wrote in a blog entry posted Tuesday agencies can avail the Planner application as part of the company’s 365 Government GCC and GCC High platforms.

Federal, state and local government clients can use the tool in efforts to visually organize collaborative work while adhering to security and compliance policies.

The company looks to introduce planning app with the 365 Government platform designed for Department of Defense customers.
