IntelliDyne raised more than $10K within a 24-hour period to support federal employees affected by the partial government shutdown.

The company said Tuesday it will donate proceeds to Washington DC Capital Area Food Bank, an organization that provides assistance to shutdown-affected workers.

“We have been fortunate that the overwhelming majority of our work is mission-critical,” said Tony Crescenzo, CEO of IntelliDyne.

“Our employees have been minimally impacted by the shutdown, however, we work with government employees every day who have felt the effects and are struggling to stay afloat after a month with no pay.”

The company engaged in internal and external promotion activities to reach the fundraising initiative’s goal before the government reopened.
