The Library of Congress is looking for potential industry partners to convert the institution's collection materials into digital format through a no-cost contract arrangement.

A selected contractor will provide equipment and personnel to carry out the digitization project as well as provide a copy and metadata of the digitized content, according to a FedBizOpps notice posted Thursday.

In exchange, the library will give the contractor access to its materials and may offer space in the facility to store equipment needed to conduct activities identified in their no-cost agreement.

Library materials include monographs, films, sound recordings, bound newspapers, serials, pamphlets, manuscripts, sheet music, maps, videos, photographs, microfilm and posters.

Interested vendors have until Oct. 31, 2020, to submit their proposals along signed digital copies of the solicitation package via email.
