Persistent Systems has established a new alliance of unmanned systems and sensor companies to provide the military with more connected devices on the battlefield.

The company said Tuesday the Wave Relay Ecosystem includes Endeavor Robotics, Boeing subsidiary Insitu, QinetiQ North America and MartinUAV.

Ecosystem partner companies will put their products on the Wave Relay mobile ad hoc network in an effort to provide warfighters a single, unified network to operate connected devices.

Nick Naioti, vice president of business development at Persistent, said the Wave Relay Ecosystem provides a machine-to-machine communication with reduced information overload on a common network.

The alliance currently has six partners. Information on the companies’ Wave Relay-enabled products are available on the Ecosystem's website.
